VinaCapital Vietnam Opportunity Fund Ltd (the Fund) is an investment fund. Its principal activity is to undertake various forms of investment primarily in Vietnam, and also in Cambodia, Laos, and Southern China. The Fund mainly invests in listed and unlisted companies, debt instruments, private equity and real estate assets, and other opportunities with the objective of achieving medium to long-term capital appreciation and investment income. The Fund’s subsidiaries include Asia Value Investment Ltd, Vietnam Enterprise Ltd, Vietnam Investment Property Holdings Ltd, Vietnam Investment Ltd, Vina QSR Limited, Indochina Building, VOF Investment Ltd, Bivi Investment JS Co. Ltd., and Pegasus Leisure Limited. The principal activities of the subsidiaries are financial services, property investment, hospitality management and retailing. VinaCapital Investment Management Limited is the Fund’s manager. In March 2009, the Fund announced the sale of its entire interest in Masan Group.
