The Company operates in three segments: Europe, North America and Asia. It designs and manufactures power converters-components. XP Power is a developer and manufacturer of the critical electronic hardware components. XP Power supplies equipment to the healthcare, industrial and technology industries. XP Power is a provider of power solutions, including alternative current-direct current (AC-DC) power supplies and DC-DC converters. XP Power has approximately 5,000 products. The products range from AC-DC power supplies, including open-frame, enclosed, desktop, configurable and DIN rail power supplies, to DC-DC converters for Distributed Power Architectures. The Company�s products include EMH350, ECS65 and SHP/MHP1000. As of December 31, 2011, it had a 20% interest in Safety Power.
