Avenue Income Credit Strategies Fund (the Fund) is a non-diversified, closed-end investment company. The Fund's investment objective is to seek a high level of current income with a secondary objective of capital appreciation. It invests primarily in loan and debt instruments, such as loan-related or debt-related instruments, including repurchase and reverse repurchase agreements and derivative instruments of issuers that operate in a range of industries and geographic regions. The Fund's investment adviser is Avenue Capital Management II, L.P.
