Description

Premier Oil plc is an independent exploration and production company. The Company has oil and gas interests in the North Sea, South East Asia, Pakistan and the Falkland Islands. The Company's operations are located and managed in seven business units: the Falkland Islands, Indonesia, Norway, Pakistan (including Mauritania), the United Kingdom, Vietnam and the Rest of the World. The Company has development and exploration assets in Norway and the Falkland Islands with exploration assets in Brazil, Iraq and Kenya. The Company has an existing portfolio of around ten development projects. These include the Catcher and Solan projects, both of which are in the United Kingdom North Sea, the Vette project in Norway, additional projects in Indonesia to supply the gas contracts into Singapore and the Sea Lion project in the Falkland Islands. In total, the Company manages a reserve and contingent resource base of approximately 794 million barrels of oil equivalent (mmboe).
