The Company operates in two segments: retail and brands. The retail segment comprises the retail network of stores. The brands segment comprises the identification, acquisition, development and trading of a portfolio of sports and leisure brands. During the fiscal year ended April 26, 2009, the Company acquired 20% interest in Lonsdale Sports Limited and disposed of Streetwise Sports Limited.
