Description

The Lubrizol Corporation (Lubrizol) is a specialty chemical company that produces and supplies technologies for the global transportation, industrial and consumer markets. The Company’s products are used in a range of applications and are sold into markets, such as those for engine oils, specialty driveline lubricants and metalworking fluids, as well as markets, such as personal care and over-the-counter pharmaceutical products, performance coatings and inks and compressor lubricants. The specialty materials products also are used in a range of industries, including the construction, sporting goods, medical products and automotive industries. The Company operates in two business segments: Lubrizol Additives and Lubrizol Advanced Materials. Lubrizol produces products with brands, such as Anglamol (gear oil additives), Carbopol (acrylic thickeners for personal care products), Estane (thermoplastic polyurethane) and TempRite (resins and compounds used in plumbing).
