Description

Mentor Graphics Corporation is a supplier of electronic design automation (EDA) systems, which include computer software, emulation hardware systems used to automate the design, analysis and testing of electronic hardware and embedded systems software in electronic systems and components. The Company markets its products and services primarily to companies in the military/aerospace, communications, computer, consumer electronics, semiconductor, networking, multimedia and transportation industries. The electronic systems that its customers create with its products include printed circuit boards (PCBs), integrated circuits (ICs), field programmable gate arrays (FPGAs), embedded software solutions and wire harness systems. On May 12, 2008, the Company acquired Ponte Solutions, Inc. In July 2008, the Company acquired Flomerics Group, PLC. In August 2009, Mentor Graphics Corporation completed the acquisition of LogicVision, Inc.
