MMR Information Systems, Inc., formerly Favrille, Inc., is engaged in providing Web-based products that facilitate consumer access to medical records and vital documents, such as living will, birth certificates, insurance policies and financial records. The Company operates through its wholly owned subsidiary, MyMedicalRecords, Inc. (MMR). In January 2009, MMR and the Company announced completion of the previously announced merger that makes MMR a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company. The Company’s product MyMedicalRecords is Web-based personal health record system (PHR), which allows documents, images and voice mail messages to be transmitted in and out of its system using a variety of methods, including fax and file upload. Its platform converts documents it receives by fax into a portable digital format (PDF) file.
