Description

Mercury Computer Systems, Inc. (Mercury) designs, manufactures and markets high-performance embedded, real-time digital signal and image processing systems and software for embedded and other specialized computing markets. The Company’s solutions are involved in a range of applications, transforming sensor data to information for analysis and interpretation. In military reconnaissance and surveillance platforms, the Company’s systems process real-time radar, sonar and signals intelligence data. In September 2008, Mercury announced that it has sold the assets of SolMap Pharmaceuticals, its biotech venture, to FORMA Therapeutics of Cambridge, Massachusetts. In January 2009, the Company sold its wholly owned subsidiaries, Visage Imaging, Inc. and its affiliate Visage Imaging GmbH, to Australia-based Pro Medicus Limited. In June 2009, the Company announced the sale of its VSG to IRDI-ICSO Private Equity.
