Description

Microsemi Corporation (Microsemi) is a designer, manufacturer and marketer of analog and mixed-signal semiconductor solutions differentiated by power, security, reliability and performance. The Company�s semiconductors manage and control or regulate power, protect against transient voltage spikes and transmit, receive and amplify signals. The Company offers portfolios of semiconductor technology. Its products include high-performance, high-reliability radio frequency (RF) and power components, analog and RF integrated circuits (ICs), standard and customizable system-on-chip solutions (SoCs/cSoCs), and mixed-signal and radiation-tolerant field programmable gate arrays (FPGAs). The Company also offers subsystems and modules that include application-specific power modules and Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) midspans. During the fiscal year ended October 3, 2012 (fiscal 2012), it completed the acquisition of Zarlink Semiconductor Inc.
