A subsidiary of Sweden's AB Volvo, the company is one of North America's largest manufacturers of heavy duty trucks used in construction, heavy hauling, highway, and refuse work. They are sold and serviced in countries worldwide through a global network of some 670 sales, parts, and repair centers. Mack Trucks also makes powertrains, an integrated system that consists of engine, transmission, and axles, and offers truck leasing and financing services. The company was founded in 1900 as Mack Brothers Company.
