Description

Superconductor Technologies Inc. is focused on developing and commercializing high temperature superconductor (HTS) materials and related technologies. The Company is engaged in research, development, manufacture and marketing of high performance products used in cellular base stations. The Company's products include AmpLink and SuperPlex, which are sold to wireless network operators in the United States. It develops products for the utility and telecommunications industries. Its HTS Wire Platform is focused on three applications, including superconducting high power transmission cable, superconducting fault current limiters (SFCL) and superconducting rotating machines, such as motors and generators. Its superconducting magnets are used in various applications to create high magnetic fields, such as nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machines.
