The Weir Group PLC is a United Kingdom-based company engaged in engineering businesses. The Company’s products and services are used in many industries, including water and wastewater, chemicals and fertilizers, agriculture, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, pulp and paper and steel and marine engineering. The Company operates in three business segments: minerals, oil and gas, and power and industrial markets. Minerals operate in the global minerals processing sector. The equipment and services are applied across the mill circuit, the process by which rock ores are broken down into end commodities such as copper, gold and iron ore. Oil and Gas operates in the conventional and unconventional upstream oil and gas markets. Power and Industrial operates in the conventional, nuclear and renewables power generation, industrial and mid and downstream oil and gas markets.
