Comstock Homebuilding Companies, Inc. is a residential real estate developer with a range of products, including single-family homes, townhouses, mid-rise condominiums, high-rise multi-family buildings and mixed-use (residential and commercial) developments in suburban communities and high density urban infill areas. The Company operates in the Washington, D.C., Raleigh, North Carolina, and Atlanta, Georgia markets where it targets first-time, early move-up, secondary move-up, and empty nester move-down buyers. As of December 31, 2008, it has built and delivered more than 5,170 homes. The Company operates a separate homebuilding division in each of its core markets. Each divisional operation is wholly owned by Comstock Homebuilding Companies, Inc., or a subsidiary thereof. Its NextHome programs are designed to assist its customers in many aspects of purchasing a Comstock home, which include DownRight, Tailor Made, Get It Sold, All@Home, Built Right and Home Style.
