Imperial Sugar Company is engaged in processing and marketing of refined sugar in the United States. The Company refines, packages and distributes sugar at facilities located in Georgia and Louisiana. The Company’s products include granulated, powdered, liquid and brown sugars marketed in a range of packaging options under various brands (Dixie Crystals, Holly and Imperial) or private labels. The Company also produces selected specialty sugar products. It offers a range of product line and sells to a range of customers directly and through wholesalers and distributors. The Company’s customers include retailers, foodservice distributors and industrial customers, principally food manufacturers.
