Description
ABIOMED, Inc. develops temporary and permanent cardiac support systems. The Company develops, manufactures and markets medical technologies designed to assist or replace the pumping function of the failing heart. It focuses on the development of two temporary support systems, the bi-ventricular support system (BVS) and the intra-arterial cardiac support system (ICs).
