Acadia Healthcare Company, Inc., is a healthcare services company. The Company’s business strategy is to acquire and develop inpatient behavioral healthcare facilities and other behavioral healthcare operations. The Company provides Acute Inpatient Psychiatric and Specialty Facilities, Residential Treatment Centers, Outpatient Community-Based Services, and Other Behavioral Services. Acute Inpatient Psychiatric and Specialty Facilities, provides care in order to stabilize patients that are either a threat to themselves or to others. Residential Treatment Centers, facilitates therapy activities with social, academic and other activities with a non-hospital setting. Outpatient Community-Based Services, therapeutic treatment centers to children and adolescents having clinically-defined emotional, psychiatric and chemical dependency disorder. Other Behavioral Services, provide management, administrative, help line services and inpatient contract management services.
