Description

Alaska Communications Systems Group, Inc. (ACS) provides integrated communications services to consumer and business customers in and out of Alaska. The Company�s communications network extends throughout Alaska and connects to the contiguous states through its two undersea fiber optic cable systems: the AKORN system and the Northstar system. Its communications network, which includes wireless spectrum holdings covering Alaska, is among the expansive in Alaska and forms the foundation of service to its customers. The Company offers many products and services over this network, and the Company offers many channels for service delivery to its customers through a value proposition differentiated by service and network design. The Company provides broadband, Internet access, local and long distance voice, and other communications products and services to residential customers. In 2012, the Company launched its Home Internet product.
