Annapolis Bancorp, Inc. is a bank holding company that operates through its wholly owned subsidiary, BankAnnapolis (the Bank). The Bank operates as a full-service commercial bank. The Bank’s principal business consists of originating loans and attracting deposits. The Bank originates commercial loans, commercial real estate loans, construction loans, one- to four-family real estate loans, home equity loans and consumer loans. The Bank also invests in the United States Treasury and the United States Government agency securities, and other securities, including mortgage-backed securities issued by or guaranteed by the federal government. It offers a range of banking products, including a line of business and personal savings and checking accounts, money market demand accounts, certificates of deposit and other banking services. The Bank’s customers are primarily individuals and small businesses.
