Description

American Pacific Corporation is a custom manufacturer of fine chemicals, specialty chemicals and propulsion products within its focused markets. The Company operates in four business segments: Fine Chemicals, Specialty Chemicals, Aerospace Equipment and Other Businesses. The Company supplies pharmaceutical ingredients and registered intermediates to the pharmaceutical industry. For the aerospace and defense industry it provides specialty chemicals used in solid rocket motors for space launch and military missiles. Fine Chemicals segment is a custom manufacturer of APIs and registered intermediates for pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. Its European-based aerospace equipment operation designs, develops and manufactures liquid propulsion thrusters, valves, pressure regulators, cold-gas propulsion systems, and precision structures for space applications, in the European space market. In July 2012, Moog Inc. acquired the Company's In-Space Propulsion business.
