Apogee Enterprises, Inc. is engaged in the design and development of value-added glass solutions for enclosing commercial buildings and framing art. The Company operates in four segments which include The Architectural Glass; The Architectural Services; The Architectural Framing Systems and The Large-Scale Optical Technologies (LSO). The Architectural Glass segment fabricates glass used in customized window and curtainwall systems. The Architectural Services segment installs and renovates customized aluminum and glass window and curtainwall systems. In addition it designs, engineers and fabricates a majority of the metal systems it installs. The Architectural Framing Systems segment designs, engineers and fabricates the aluminum frames used in customized aluminum and glass window, curtainwall, storefront and entrance systems. LSO segment manufactures value-added glass and acrylic products primarily for the custom picture framing market.
