As of September 30, 2011, the Company operated 194 branches in 38 states and six Canadian provinces, carrying up to 10,000 stock keeping units (SKUs) and serving approximately 40,000 customers. It is a distributor of roofing materials in metropolitan markets in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Midwest, Central Plains, South and Southwest regions of the United States and across Canada. In May 2011, the Company purchased all of the stock of Enercon Products (Enercon). In October 2011, it acquired The Roofing Connection. In November 2011, it acquired Fowler & Peth, Inc. In July 2012, the Company acquired Structural Materials, Co.
