Cape Bancorp, Inc. (Cape Bancorp) is the bank holding company of Cape Bank (the Bank). The Bank is a New Jersey chartered savings bank. The Bank is a community bank focused on providing deposit and loan products to retail customers and to small and mid-sized businesses. Its principal business is acquiring deposits from individuals and businesses in the communities surrounding its offices and using these deposits to fund loans and other investments. It offers personal and business checking accounts, commercial mortgage loans, residential mortgage loans, construction loans, home equity loans and lines of credit and other types of commercial and consumer loans. At December 31, 2011, its retail market area primarily included the area surrounding its 16 offices located in Cape May and Atlantic Counties and New Jersey. In February 2011, the Company opened a loan production office in Burlington County, New Jersey.
