CompuCredit Holdings Corp, formerly CompuCredit Corporation, is a provider of various credit and related financial services and products to or associated with the financially underserved consumer credit market. The Company serves this market principally through its marketing and solicitation of credit card accounts and other credit products and servicing of various receivables underlying originated accounts and portfolio acquisitions. It operates through five segments: Credit Cards, Investments in Previously Charged-Off Receivables, Retail Micro-Loans, Auto Finance and Other. In April 2008, the Company sold its Texas retail micro-loan operations. In June 2009, the Company became a wholly owned subsidiary of CompuCredit Holdings Corporation.
