Description

Central Garden & Pet Company (Central) is a marketer and producer of branded products. It is the supplier of pet and lawn and garden supplies industries in the United States. The Company operates in two segments: Garden Products and Pet Products. Its pet supplies products include products for dogs and cats, including edible bones, healthy edible and non-edible chews, dog and cat food and treats, leashes, collars, toys, pet carriers, grooming supplies and other accessories; products for birds, small animals and specialty pets, including food, cages and habitats, toys, chews and related accessories; animal and household health and insect control products; products for fish, reptiles and other aquarium-based pets, including aquariums, furniture and lighting fixtures, pumps, filters, water conditioners, food and supplements, and information and knowledge resources, and products for horses and livestock. In January2013, it acquired the remaining interest in FourStar Microbial Products, LLC.
