Comstock Holding Companies, Inc., formerly Comstock Homebuilding Companies, Inc., is a diversified real estate development and asset management services company primarily focused on the Washington, DC marketplace. Comstock Homes, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, develops residential and mixed-use communities as for-sale communities and as rental properties. Comstock Contracting, also a wholly owned subsidiary, provides a range of asset management and real estate development related services to property owners and real estate owned (REO) managers. The Company builds a range of products, including single-family homes, townhouses, mid-rise condominiums, high-rise multi-family condominiums and mixed-use (residential and commercial) developments. As of December 31, 2010, the Company had built and delivered more than 5,200 homes. In March 2012, the Company announced that Comstock Cascades II L.C. sold the Potomac Square Apartment project.
