Description
The Chefs� Warehouse, Inc., formerly Chefs� Warehouse Holdings, LLC, is a distributor of specialty food products in the United States. The Company focuses on serving the specific needs of chefs who own and/or operate independent restaurants, fine dining establishments, country clubs, hotels, caterers, culinary schools and specialty food stores. Its product portfolio includes over 11,500 stock-keeping units (SKUs) and consists of imported and domestic specialty food products, such as artisan charcuterie, specialty cheeses, oils and vinegars, hormone-free protein, truffles, caviar and chocolate. In November 2011, it acquired all the assets of Provvista Specialty Foods, Inc. In April 2012, the Company acquired Praml International, LTD., a specialty foods importer and foodservice distributor. In May 2013, The Chefs' Warehouse Inc acquired the entire share capital of Qzina Specialty Foods North America Inc.
