China Natural Resources Inc. (CHNR) is a holding company. The Company through its operating subsidiaries is engaged in the acquisition and exploitation of mining rights, including the exploration, mineral extraction, processing and sale of iron, zinc and other nonferrous metals extracted or produced at mines primarily located in Anhui Province in the People�s Republic of China, and the acquisition and exploitation of mining rights, including the exploration, construction, development and operation of coal mines located in Guizhou Province, the People�s Republic of China. The Company operates in two segments: exploration and mining - non-ferrous metals, and exploration and mining - coal. Its metal mining operations are conducted by Wuhu Feishang Mining Development Co. Limited (Wuhu Feishang). It also conducts its non-ferrous metal exploration activities through Yunnan Feishang Mining Co. Limited (Yunnan Mining).
