Description

Core-Mark Holding Company, Inc. (Core-Mark) is a marketer of fresh and supply solutions to the convenience retail industry in North America providing sales and marketing, distribution and logistics services to customer locations across the United States and Canada. It offer retailers the ability to participate in manufacturer and Company sponsored sales and marketing programs, merchandising and product category management services, as well as the use of information systems. In addition, the wholesale distributing capabilities provide services to both manufacturers of consumer products and convenience retailers. It operates in two geographic areas: the United States and Canada. It distribute a line of national and private label convenience store products to over 28,000 customer locations in all 50 states of the United States and five Canadian provinces. On May 2, 2011, the Company acquired Forrest City Grocery Company. On December 17, 2012, it acquired J.T. Davenport & Sons, Inc.
