Capital Southwest Corporation (CSC) is a business development company. The Company�s investment interests are focused on expansion financings, management buyouts, minority recapitalizations, industry consolidations and early-stage financings in a range of industry segments. The portfolio is a composite of companies, in which it has interests, as well as a number of developing companies and marketable securities of publicly-traded companies. The Company makes available managerial assistance to the companies, in which it invests. As of March 31, 2010, the 12 largest investments the Company owned represented 90.3% of the value of its consolidated investment portfolio. Capital Southwest Management Company (CSMC), a wholly owned subsidiary of CSC, is the management company for CSC and Capital Southwest Venture Corporation (CSVC). In January 2013, Capital Southwest Venture Corporation, a subsidiary of the Company sold Heelys, Inc.
