Cavco Industries, Inc. (Cavco) is a producer of manufactured homes in the United States. The Company designs and produces factory-built homes, which are mainly distributed by a network of retailers throughout most of the continental United States. The Company is also a producer of park model homes and vacation cabins in the United States. The products it manufactures are sold under a variety of brand names and are offered in a variety of floor plans. Its business encompasses manufacturing operations and wholesale, and retail marketing. The Company�s Housing and Urban Development (HUD) code homes generally range in size from approximately 500 to 3,300 square feet and include two to five bedrooms, a living room, dining room, kitchen and two or more full bathrooms. Its park model homes and campground cabins are less than 400 square feet in size and are purchased primarily for use as second homes, vacation homes or for seasonal retirement living.
