Description

Dorman Products, Inc. (Dorman) is a supplier of automotive replacement parts and fasteners and service line products for the automotive aftermarket. It markets approximately 128,000 different automotive replacement parts (including brake parts), fasteners and service line products. During the year ended December 31, 2011, approximately 26% of its parts are consisted of parts and fasteners, which were original equipment dealer exclusive items at the time of their introduction. During 2011, these dealer exclusive parts represented 63% of its net sales. During 2011, approximately 79% of its products were sold under its brand names and the remainder is sold for resale under customers� private labels, other brands or in bulk. Its products are sold in the United States through automotive aftermarket retailers; national, regional and local warehouse distributors, and specialty markets and salvage yards.
