Description

The Ensign Group, Inc. is a holding company. The Company, through its subsidiaries, provides skilled nursing and rehabilitative care services. As of January 7, 2015, the Company owned 140 facilities, 11 hospice agencies, 13 home health agencies, two home care businesses and 16 urgent care clinics across 12 states. The Company operates in Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Iowa, Nebraska, Nevada, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Washington, and Wisconsin. The Company�s wholly owned subsidiaries provides accounting, payroll, human resources, information technology, legal and other services to the other operating subsidiaries. The Company also has a wholly-owned captive insurance subsidiary (the Captive) that provides some claims-made coverage for general liability. The Company provides nursing operations through Riverwalk Post-Acute and Rehabilitation and Rock Canyon Respiratory and Rehabilitation Center, and hospice operations through Hospice of the South Plains.
