First Citizens BancShares, Inc. (BancShares) is a financial holding company. The Company conducts its operations through its banking subsidiary, First-Citizens Bank & Trust Company (FCB). A substantial portion of BancShares� revenue is derived from its operations throughout North Carolina and Virginia, and in certain urban areas of Georgia, Florida, California and Texas. The delivery of products and services to its customers is primarily accomplished through associates deployed throughout its branch network. It also provides customers with access to its products and services through online banking, telephone banking, mobile banking and various ATM networks. Business customers may also conduct banking transactions through use of remote image technology.
