Description

Fisher Communications, Inc. (Fisher) is an integrated media company. The Company conducts its operations through two subsidiaries, Fisher Broadcasting Company (Fisher Broadcasting) and Fisher Media Services Company (Fisher Media Services). As of December 31, 2012, it operated in two segments: television and radio. The television segment includes the operations of our 20 owned and/or operated television stations and its Internet business. The radio segment includes the operations of its three radio stations and one managed radio station. Its broadcasting operations consist of its television and radio businesses, during the year ended December 31, 2012, with television accounting for approximately 88% and radio accounting for approximately 12% of its 2012, broadcasting revenue. As of December 31, 2012, it owned and operated 13 full power (including a 50%-owned television station) and seven low-power television stations and three-owned radio stations.
