German American Bancorp, Inc. is a financial services holding company. The Company, through its banking subsidiary German American Bancorp, operates 37 retail and commercial banking offices in 13 southern Indiana counties. The Company’s businesses include retail and commercial banking, comprehensive financial planning, full service brokerage and trust administration, and a full range of personal and corporate insurance products. The Company’s operations include three segments: core banking segment involves attracting deposits from the public and using them to originate consumer, commercial and agricultural, commercial and agricultural real estate, and residential mortgage loans. The trust and investment advisory services segment involves providing trust, investment advisory, and brokerage services to customers, and insurance segment offers a full range of personal and corporate property and casualty insurance products, in the Company’s banking subsidiary’s local markets.
