Globus Maritime Limited (Globus) is an integrated dry bulk shipping company. The Company provides marine transportation services on a worldwide basis. It owns, operates and manages a fleet of dry bulk vessels that transport iron ore, coal, grain, steel products, cement, alumina and other dry bulk cargoes internationally. Its operations are managed by its wholly owned subsidiary, Globus Shipmanagement Corp. ,which provides in-house commercial and technical management for Globus vessels. As of December 31, 2010, its fleet consisted of a total of five dry bulk vessels, consisting of one Panamax, three Supramaxes and one Kamsarmax, with a weighted average age of approximately four years and a total carrying capacity of 319,913 deadweight tonnages. During the year ended December 31, 2010, it acquired three vessels motor vessel (m/v) Sky Globe, m/v Star Globe and m/v Jin Star.
