Randgold Resources Limited is Jersey-based Company engaged in the exploration and development of gold deposits in Sub-Saharan Africa. The Company�s activities are focused on West and Central Africa. The Company�s discoveries include the 7.5Moz Morila deposit in southern Mali, the 7Moz Yalea deposit and the 5.5Moz Gounkoto deposit, both in western Mali, the 4Moz Tongon deposit in the Cote d Ivoire and the 3Moz Massawa deposit in eastern Senegal. Randgold financed and built the Morila mine. The Kibali project is a gold development property which covers an area of 1,836 square kilometers on the Moto Goldfields in the north east of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The Massawa project is located approximately 700 kilometers south east of the capital city of Dakar and some 90 kilometers due west of its Loulo mine in Mali. It owns 83.25% of the project with a local company holding 6.75%.
