Description

Gladstone Commercial Corporation is a real estate investment trust (REIT). The Company invests in and owns net leased industrial and commercial real estate property and makes long-term industrial and commercial mortgage loans. It conducts substantially all of its activities, including the ownership of all of its properties, through Gladstone Commercial Limited Partnership. In June 2012, the Company purchased a 32,000 square foot office and classroom facility located in Columbus, GA. In September 2012, the Company acquired a 60,000 square foot office building located in Jupiter. In November 2012, the Company purchased the National Archives and Records Administration's (NARA) Southwest Region Records Center. In April 2013, it purchased a 29,257 square foot building in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. In May 2013, the Company purchased a 170,000 square foot build-to-suit light industrial manufacturing facility in Vance, Alabama from Brookwood Parkway, LLC.
