Description

Chart Industries, Inc. (Chart) is a holding company. Chart is a global manufacturer of engineered equipment used in the production, storage and end-use of hydrocarbon and industrial gases. It supplies engineered equipment used throughout the global liquid gas supply chain. It is a manufacturer of engineered equipment primarily used for low-temperature and cryogenic applications. Chart has developed cryogenic systems and equipment. The Company's products, including vacuum insulated containment vessels, heat exchangers, cold boxes and other cryogenic components, are used in the liquid gas supply chain for the purification, liquefaction, distribution, storage and end-use of hydrocarbon and industrial gases. The Company operates in three segments: Energy & Chemicals, Distribution and Storage and BioMedical. On August 1, 2011, Chart acquired GOFA Gocher Fahrzeugbau GmbH. On April 1, 2011, the Company acquired Clever Fellows Innovation Consortium, Inc.
