Helen of Troy Limited is a global designer, developer, importer and distributor of an expanding portfolio of brand-name consumer products. The Company operates in three segments: Personal Care, Housewares and Healthcare/Home Environment. Its Personal Care segment offers products in three categories: appliances; grooming, skin care and hair care solutions; and brushes, combs and accessories. Its Housewares segment reports the operations of the OXO family of brands, which provide a range of consumer products for the home. The Healthcare/Home Environment segment product category includes healthcare, water filtration and home environment.During the fiscal year ended February 29, 2012, the Company introduced 377 new products across all of its categories. On December 30, 2011, it acquired PUR Water Purification Products, Inc.
