iGATE Corporation (iGATE) is an outsourcing provider of integrated end-to-end offshore centric information technology (IT) and IT-enabled operations solutions and services. iGATE delivers a range of IT services through globally integrated onsite and offshore delivery locations primarily in India. The Company offers its services to customers through industry focused practices, including insurance and healthcare (IHC), manufacturing, retail and logistics (MRDL), banking and financial services (BFS), communications and utilities (CEU), and media and entertainment (MELT) and through technology focused practices. It operates its business principally through its wholly owned operating subsidiaries iGATE Technologies, iGATE Global and Patni. On May 12, 2011, it acquired Patni Computer Systems Limited (Patni).
