Sunset Life Insurance Company of America (Sunset Life) and Old American Insurance Company (Old American) are Kansas City Life�s wholly owned subsidiaries. The Company offers investment and broker-dealer services through its subsidiary Sunset Financial Services (SFS) for both proprietary and non-proprietary variable insurance products, mutual funds and other securities. The Company markets individual life insurance and annuity products, including traditional, interest sensitive, and variable products through its sales force and third-party marketing arrangements. Kansas City Life operates in 48 states and the District of Columbia. The Company operates in three segments: Individual Insurance, Group Insurance and Old American.
