Kewaunee Scientific Corporation designs, manufactures, and installation of laboratory, healthcare, and technical furniture products. The Company operates in two business segments: Domestic Operations and International Operations. The Domestic Operations segment principally designs, manufactures, and installs scientific and technical furniture, including steel and wood laboratory cabinetry, fume hoods, laminate casework, flexible systems, worksurfaces, workstations, workbenches, and computer enclosures. The International Operations segment, which consists of four foreign subsidiaries, provides both the Company�s products and services, including facility design, detailed engineering, construction, and project management from the planning stage through testing and commissioning of laboratories. Products are sold to pharmaceutical, biotechnology, industrial, chemical, and commercial research laboratories, educational institutions, healthcare institutions, governmental entities and others.
