Description

LHC Group, Inc. (LHC Group) provides post-acute health care services to patients through its home nursing agencies, hospices and long-term acute care hospitals (LTACHs). Through the Company� wholly and majority owned subsidiaries, equity joint ventures and controlled affiliates. It operates in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia and Washington. LHC Group operates in two segments: home-based services and facility-based services. Effective March 1, 2013, Addus HomeCare Corp sold its Home Health business to the Company. In April 2013, it acquired the assets of Infirmary Hospice Care in the State of Alabama, which is a Certificate of Need (CON) State for hospice services.
