Snyder's-Lance, Inc. (Snyder's-Lance) is engaged in the manufacturing, distribution, marketing and sale of snack food products. The products include pretzels, sandwich crackers, kettle chips, pretzel crackers, cookies, potato chips, tortilla chips, other salty snacks, sugar wafers, nuts and restaurant style crackers. Additionally, the Company purchases certain cakes, meat snacks and candies sold under its brands and partner brand products for resale. The products are packaged in various single-serve, multi-pack and family-size configurations. On June 12, 2012, the Company acquired O'Byrne Distributing, Inc. On October 11, 2012, the Company completed the acquisition of Snack Factory, LLC. Snack Factory develops, markets and distributes snack food products under the Pretzel Crisps brand name. On February 25, 2013, the Company closed down its Cambridge plant facility. In August 2013, the Company announced that it has acquired substantially all assets of Stateline Service Corporation.
