Remark Media Inc. (Remark Media), formerly HSW International, Inc., is a global digital media company focused on developing, owning and operating Web publishing platforms. The Company also offers a suite of content and platform services. Remark Media has two segments: Brands, formerly Digital online publishing, and Content and Platform Services, formerly Web platform services. As of December 31, 2011, the Company�s brands included BoWenWang (bowenwang.com.cn) and ComoTudoFunciona (hsw.com.br). The Company�s Website services business creates content and platform solutions for media and entertainment companies. Remark Media is also a founding partner and developer of the United States-based product Sharecare. In June 2012, the Company acquired Banks.com, Inc., a financial media company that owns and operates Banks.com, IRS.com, FileLater.com and MyStockFund.com. In March 2013, it acquired the entire share capital of Pop Factory LLC.
