Description

Mercer International Inc. provides sourced fibers, renewable energy and bio-chemicals. The Company produces and sells approximately 1.5 million air-dried metric tons (ADMT) of northern bleached softwood kraft (NBSK) pulp, over 700,000 megawatt-hours of electrical power, and over 20,000 tons of bio-chemicals. Its operations consist of three modern pulp mills-Rosenthal, Stendal and Celgar. The Rosenthal and Stendal mills are located in eastern Germany, approximately 300 kilometers south of Berlin and 130 kilometers west of Berlin, respectively. Its Celgar mill is located in southeastern British Columbia, Canada, approximately 600 kilometers east of Vancouver.
