Meru Networks, Inc. (Meru) provides a virtualized wireless local area network (LAN) solution. The Company enables enterprises to migrate their applications from wired networks to wireless networks, and become what it refers to as All-Wireless Enterprises. Meru�s solution represents an approach to wireless networking that utilizes virtualization technology to create a wireless network. Meru�s solution is designed to provide users with access to their applications. The Company provides a virtualized wireless LAN solution that is built around its System Director Operating System, which runs on controllers and access points. The Company offers additional products designed to deliver centralized network management, predictive and proactive diagnostics, as well as security. In September 2011, the Company acquired Identity Networks.
