Through its primary Website, www.makemytrip.com, and other platforms, travelers can research, plan and book a range of travel services and products in India, as well as overseas. Its services and products include air tickets, hotels, packages, rail tickets, bus tickets, car hire and ancillary travel requirements, such as facilitating access to travel insurance. It provides its customers with access to all major domestic full-service and low-cost airlines operating in India and all major airlines operating to and from India, over 4,700 hotels in India and a selection of hotels outside India, Indian Railways and several major Indian bus operators. It segments include air ticketing and hotels and packages. In November 2012, it acquired a majority interest in a group of companies known as the ITC Group.
